One of the most promising artists to emerge in recent years, Lacey Harrison has already made an impact with her dramatic and prolific early career. Below are examples of Lacey's work (spread across more than one page to reduce downloading times). ALL IMAGES ARE THE PROPERTY OF LACEY HARRISON.

This magnificent sailing yacht has drifted off course and is totally
lost! With that broken mast, and the big hole in the hull, things aren’t
looking good for the 7-man crew. See the fear and despair in their weary
faces as they try desperately to bail out the stricken vessel using nothing
more than socks.

The poor girl! Dumped by her wicked ex-lover after a heated row in the
kebab shop, all she can think of this morning is the car cover she’s sitting
there knitting.

Commemorating the infamous raid on the Turkish village of Dalyan towards
the end of the First World War. You cannot help but weep at the plight
of the defenceless villagers. Contrast the terror in their eyes with the
gleeful rage of the attackers, their bloody machetes ready to strike again.
Oh, the horror!

There’s nothing better than a lazy start to a sunny day. What better
way to start than a simple breakfast of bread and carrots? The vibrant,
living colours of the carrots are perfectly balanced by the soft tones
of the warm, crusty rolls. Delicious!

All the thrills of top-draw motor racing are captured here! This work
shows the leading group dashing for the chequered flag in the Monaco Formula
1 Grand Prix. The cars seem to be straining to leap out of the paper as
they race towards victory. The crowd, on their feet by now, cheer them
on enthusiastically and throw onions!

The sheep frolic in the field as the farmer waves his shotgun at campers
to chase them off. All the reds and blacks of an idyllic, traditional country
farm scene come together to form a cacophony of blended shades.

This work was never given an official title. When asked why this is
the case, the only answer that Lacey has ever given is, “I like tea tho”.
Critics widely agree that this piece, more than any other, shows the genius,
imagination, and total laziness of the artist.

After the nuclear holocaust, not much remains of the erstwhile tranquil
farmstead. The farmer and all of the animals have been incinerated, and
the farmhouse is nought but smouldering rubble. Is this a vision of the
future? Or is it happening right now?
