In comparison to the hundreds of photos that I regularly take at conventions, I took a total of only 24 pictures over this weekend; 10 of Christopher Lee during his Saturday "Question and Answer" session, and 14 of him during Sunday's Q&A session. This page represents the best twelve of them. PAGE 2: Although, when tickets for this event went on sale, attendees were limited to getting only one autograph each, a very surprisingly low turnout - plus the fact that this was a one-time opportunity - resulted in me coming away with NINE autographs! All nine are displayed on this page. '13DVD_booklet' and '14DVD_booklet' are the booklets from the extended DVD versions of the first two recent "Lord of the Rings" films, "The Fellowship of the Ring" and "The Two Towers". I have six signed copies of the third film, "The Return of the King", on order, one of which is for me. So, I will end up with the entire trilogy signed by Christopher Lee! '19print' and '20print' were obtained for friends who couldn't make it to the event. As each attendee had their autographs signed, a professional photographer, Dave Sumner, took one or two photos of them and Mr. Lee. On Sunday morning, I collected two such photos taken during Saturday's autograph session. When I went for additional autographs on Sunday, one of the items that I had signed was one of these photos, as seen in '21autograph_session'. Better yet, Dave took a photo of this photo being signed! Mr. Lee signed a limit of 400 autographs on each of the two days. Each item signed was marked with a sticker which acts as a "certificate of authenticity", an example of which can be seen in '22certificate'. |
