'08Fancy_Dress.jpg' shows the winning entry in the Saturday night fancy dress competition. Good effort! Once we had secured our usual table by the bar, we enlisted our goodfella, "MoFo" ('09MoFo.jpg'), to check anybody approaching for their invitation. We kept our table, and only a few people got caps in their asses. '19Flores.jpg' on page 2 shows Von Flores sporting the wig that Jayne Heitmeyer wears when playing Renee Palmer in Earth: Final Conflict. At one point whilst Jayne Heitmeyer was talking on stage on Sunday, Robert Leeshock ran up to her and kissed her. I had to rush to take a picture ('22Heitmeyer_Leeshock.jpg' on page 2), so the image isn't too good, but at least I got it! On Sunday afternoon, the red, high-heeled shoes worn by Lani Tupu in the Farscape episode "Won't Get Fooled Again" were auctioned, selling for 800 pounds. At the request of the audience, Lani donned the shoes. Gigi Edgley then rolled up Lani's pants to better show the shoes ('32Edgley_Tupu.jpg', page 3). Lani then danced around for a while in the shoes ('33Tupu.jpg', page 3). Sometimes, the moment I see one of my photos, I have an idea of what I want to do with it. '36Poster.jpg' on page 3 shows the result of one such idea. Make sure to take a look at the third "Caption Competition". |
Caption Competition: Final Conflict

After the success of my first two "Caption Competitions", I decided to hold a third such contest. Hence "Caption Competition: Final Conflict". Of course, there can't be a caption competition without a suitable photograph, and this time it was Mr. Von Flores who provided the subject matter for this latest contest. Bravo!
This third caption competition closed on 13th. October, 2002. I have considered the various entries and can announce Sarah Walker as the lucky winner. The above picture has been updated to reflect the winning caption. Sarah has been notified of her success, and will be receiving a nice, large print of the above photograph, including her winning caption, in due course. Congratulations, Sarah!
