| Notes | This was a massive event, with
correspondingly huge queues. I am not too good at standing in queues (or
anywhere else) for six to eight hours a day, so even in the brief, rare
periods when I wasn't standing in one queue or heading for the next one,
I was usually far too tired to go stand at the side in the main hall (no
chance of just 'popping in' and getting a seat at the front!) to listen
to the guests and take photos. Consequently, I hardly got any decent pictures
of any of the guests during their time on stage. Not easily discouraged,
I have found what I consider to be the "best" of what I got. Most of the
36 are O.K.
On a more positive note, I got far better photos of some of this weekend's guests a few days later, during the "End of Days party" in Pages Bar. Anyway, I am aware that most of this set of pictures aren't too good. I hope that folks still like a few of them! PAGE 1: '02FancyDress.jpg' was a nice group effort. PAGE 2: I decided months before this event to bring a Jedi Chefs poster with me. That poster proved to be a tremendous success! In '22Poster.jpg', Jedi Master Chef 004 Dwane stands guard over the Jedi Chefs poster while the rest of us languish in the bar trying to break our beer-drinking record. NEVER overdose on Red Bull! This man ('24FancyDress.jpg') did, and now he can't wave to his friends without clearance for take-off. You have been warned. PAGE 3: I am not sure what Andy Hallet is hoping to achieve in '28Hallet.jpg'. I believe that he may have been revealing a tattoo for the eager onlookers. Whatever the reason for Andy's state of partial undress, Vincent Kartheiser (in the foreground), displayed a clear interest in the show. On the subject of tattoos, a collection was taken ('29Collection.jpg') to encourage Brody Hutzler to reveal some of his 'body art'. In '30Hutzler.jpg'. Alexis Denisof peruses the final result of the collection. I believe that Brody's chest read, "I am in Blackpool". On Sunday, "Sparky" - one of the long running props guys from Angel - was displaying, in the dealers' room, some of the actual props from Angel. Of course, I had to get a few photos! The next time you see somebody firing Angel's crossbow on the show, remember '33ArmedNeil.jpg'. The theme of the party was 'School Prom'. We had plenty of guns. Someone had to be Jonny English ('34JonnyEnglish.jpg'). Clearly, some the guests decided that they would entertain us right up to the very end of the event. '35Farewell.jpg' was taken at 12:54 on the Monday morning, and they were still there until 01:45! What do you get if you cross:
