| Notes | Although replaced shortly before
this event, my flashgun was still not working correctly. I discovered that,
if I used the camera in "full manual" mode, I could still use the flash
for some photographs.
Any regular UK convention goer will be familiar with the individual portrayed in '01MaltMan.jpg'. In '03Strong.jpg', Danny Strong prepares to photograph the audience using one of the two disposable cameras given to the guests - and later auctioned. '30Groener.jpg' on page 3 shows "the mayor" with our man Glen. During the party on Saturday night, revellers were treat to Tony Head singing "Sweet Transvestite" from "The Rocky Horrror Picture Show", as seen in '31Head.jpg' on page 3. Throughout the weekend, first aid service was provided by the "SG 999" group. Their team can be seen, along with myself, in '36SG999.jpg' on page 3. On more than one occasion I was glad to accept the cups of chilled water that they offered, as part of their service, to grateful attendees. |
