| Notes | I acted differently at this event; prior to setting off, I decided
not to bother with much of the main hall activities over the weekend. I
was very tired before the event and needed to rest and just "chill out".
Consequently, I did not take a single photo in the opening ceremony, closing
ceremony or Q & A sessions. Ironically, I returned from the event just
as tired as after previous conventions, but I was less busy during the
weekend. :)
PAGE 1: Having taken absolutely zero photos of the guests on stage (I usually take hundreds), I've decided to post a few photos from the parties. Marwan, who will be well known to regular convention attendees as being the "resident" DJ, joined the ranks of the Jedi Master Chefs on the Saturday evening. '01Marwan' shows him performing his DJ duties in full JMC regalia. As a fan of the John Carpenter film, "Escape from New York", I had no trouble recognising the character portrayed by the fancy dress entry shown in '02Plissken'. There are several photo of Jonathan Woodward because he spent quite some time on Saturday night having fun in the bar. PAGES 2 & 3: These are some of my more interesting photosession pictures and autographed photos. Thank you very much to Dave Sumner for taking the photosession photos for me. I won't make any comment about '27Woodward' except "How woooooooooood!". :) |
