| Notes | PAGE 1:
Several of the guests arrived on stage via a 'sarcophagus', which was guarded during the opening ceremony by a Jaffa ('01Jaffa.jpg').This was, in fact, Tracey Middleton, wearing her excellent costume that won the fancy dress competition at SG-3. The Jedi Chefs were present and active at this event. This time, no less than three Jedi Master Chefs ('03JediMasterChefs.jpg') attended. Several new Apprentices were recruited. Check the Jedi Chefs web site for details. At the Saturday night party, our first 'tower' was eventually destroyed by the hail of projectiles launched from the balcony by the cowardly tech. crew. Our resolve strengthened, we strived to rebuild the structure. After two hours of defending our work from perpetual attack, we prevailed, as proved in '04Tower.jpg'. PAGE 3: On Sunday, several attendees won auctions in which the prize was to grope the rear ends of certain guests, specifically JR Bourne, Christopher Judge, Jacqueline Samuda and Garwin Sanford. One of winning ladies requested an alternative reward from JR Bourne. '32Kiss.jpg' depicts the result of that request. In almost every one of the almost 250 photos that I took of Christopher Judge whilst he was on stage, he is smiling, laughing or grinning. In contrast, in '34Judge.jpg' he is looking rather sombre. This is because, at that time, he was "in character", answering several questions "as Teal'c". Douglas Arthurs clearly enjoyed the parties. On Sunday night he went way beyond the call of duty, including aiding us in launching our aerial attack ('35Arthurs.jpg'), posing for ages so that dozens of attendees could get photos with him in the 'stargate' on stage ('36Arthurs.jpg'), and signing various items for numerous people (including my only remaining chef's hat!). The man even brought me a pint! Good effort Douglas! |
